Robin Harrison is the founder and managing Director of Dolly Char Ltd and also Dolly Char (UK) Ltd which specialises in offering domestic cleaning franchise business opportunities throughout the United Kingdom. Dolly Char Ltd specialise in providing a domestic cleaning service within Lincolnshire.
As well as Dolly Char I am working on a local information and history site in my spare time about Horncastle in Lincolnshire www.banovallum.info where you can find out alot more about myself and my family from that location.
My business is very home based and for the past 6 years I have classed myself as semi-retired. The life style my business as given me is one of relaxation and also plenty of time for enjoying watching my family grow up.
I got my nick name Rocket Robin from my days as a pool and snooker player. I was once an England “B” player and also captained the Lincolnshire County side at pool for three years. I also played for the East of England team. I was a member of the professional pool players association also for a few years playing regular on their weekend circit.
At snooker I got to the Pontins junior Semi-final in 1977 before losing in a closely fought match against Jimmy White, having knocked out Neil Foulds in the Quarter finals. I was also very privaliged to sit and have dinner with the late great Joe Davis once whilst playing in Wales.
Most of my working life up until 2001 I was in the building trade in one capacity or another, I trained as a bricklayer but mostly worked for jobbing builders where we had to be a jack of all trades.
I went back to college in 1998 and did many IT course including website design at Lincoln University. I also did my adult education Teachers Certificate as well as a Diploma in Building Site Management. I now do my own website design for my company Dolly Char (UK) Ltd
Dolly Char was started during the early part of 2001 by Robin and Carol Harrison. And as expected, demand was very high for Dolly Chars services. Domestic cleaning and ironing is a help to many people in all types of situations, and we believe in providing a professional service that people can recommend to others.
During the early part of 2004 Dolly Char were extremely proud to be accepted as corporate members of the British institute of Cleaning Science and as such we strive to uphold and maintain the high standards laid down by them.
During the later stages of 2004 we took the decision to franchise our domestic cleaning business on a national basis due to the great demand that we were getting for our services from far a field.
Due to this extensive demand for the Dolly Char service, Dolly Char is currently looking to recruit franchisees throughout the UK. The Dolly Char domestic cleaning franchise package offers initial training and support to help you get your domestic cleaning business off to a flying start.
